In Northern Ireland Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) should be carried out by qualified persons with experience in hydrology, river modelling and flood risk.
At JKB Consulting flood risk assessments will be carried out by a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 12 years experience in preparing flood risk assessments including river modelling and accurately predicting the flood extents and providing Clients with practical guidance on meeting the requirements of Northern Ireland Flood Risk Planning Policy. To date we have been successful in gaining DfI River approval for ALL our Northern Ireland Flood Risk Assessments including difficult sites located within the floodplain.
